*Pretends like it hasn’t been over two years since his last post*

Hi, everybody!

While I’m the first to admit that I’m notoriously bad at self promotion (a terrible trait for an actor to have), there’s just way too much cool stuff on the horizon for me to not want to share. And since my little birdies tell me that my website has been getting a bit more traffic lately, it’s time to start updating more frequently.

Now, on to the awesome!Mice and Men info

First of all, I’m very pleased to announce that I have been cast as Lennie in the Palos Verdes Performing Arts Center’s upcoming production of Steinbeck’s classic, Of Mice and Men. I am not exaggerating when I say getting a chance to play Lennie represents the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. After all, meaty, dramatic roles for large actors are few and far between, and this one is pretty iconic. I couldn’t be more grateful to the fine folks at PVPA for giving me the opportunity to play with them!

Also, just between you and me, this will be my first Union contract as an Equity actor! Yay, Union!

Please note that the show only runs for one weekend, march 3rd through march 6th, so if you’re interested in checking out, get your tickets as soon as possible! More information, including dates, times, and ticket info, can be found on the Palos Verdes Performing Arts Center Website.

“Tell me about the rabbits, George!”

Secondly, I’m also quite happy to announce that there’s some music news to report…

My buddy John Wick (no, not the assassin) is currently Kickstarting a 2nd Edition of his hugely beloved roleplaying game, 7th Sea. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the game, just imagine if Jack Sparrow, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Dread Pirate Roberts, Ragnar Lothbrok, The Count of Monte Cristo, Lagertha, Errol Flynn, and Alexandre Dumas had a baby.

Now imagine that YOU ARE THAT BABY.

Anyway, the Kickstarter campaign for the 2nd Edition funded in just seven minutes, and as of this writing it is currently sailing towards almost $500,000. Which brings me to my good news: for the $500,000 stretch goal incentive I have been asked to record a full 10 song album of sea shanties for the game! There’ll be songs, clanking mugs, banter, drunkenly slurred choruses, and all manner of interesting characters. It promises to be a really fun time.

Stay tuned to this site for updates on the progress of the album, and perhaps some sneak peeks…

Oh, you want a sneak peek now? Okay, since you twisted my arm:

So yeah, if you want to hear more where that came from, I heartily recommend that you head on over to the 7th Sea 2nd Edition Kickstarter Page to see what they have to offer and make a pledge. You won’t be disappointed.

Thanks, everyone. It’s wonderful to be back!
